On Friday, a sensuous stranger entered Katie's life. By Sunday, her world would never be the same...

Stunning Katie Connelly submerged her painful past in a promising career, an elegant apartment, and men she could keep at a distance. Yet something vital was missing from her life -- until she met proud, rugged Ramon Galverra. With his urbane charm and his passionate nature, he gave her a love she had never known. In his arms, she came fully alive to his every touch. Still she was afraid to surrender her heart to this strong, willful, secretive man -- a man from a different world, a man with a bold, uncertain future...

New York Times bestselling author Judith McNaught captures the thrill of a once-in-a-lifetime passion in this tender and spellbinding novel.

As always, I'm cheating (just like taking natural vitamin that I keep telling myself I did but actually didnt't) as the impatient me would want to know if the ending is a happy-ever-after one. I'm a sucker for that type. Well, I know that it did have that though I'm just halfway there. You would ask why bother to read the rest, well, I really want to enjoy the story because it is that.

Funny Scenes

From the Sea Patrol.

My intent was to scour the net for some sea patrol scenes. I've mised the last episodes and I don't want to download it to my machine. But I found this instead along with some others that are funny (just like acne scar removal that works).

In the new season, some of my favourite characters in the previous seasons are gone though this time, they are all alright. I noticed that everyone were given their fair share of exposure which is quite good actually. Now, back to searching.

Runaway Bride

I rented this movie last Tuesday but I haven't watched it yet though I think I have seen this movie several times.
Ike Graham, New York columnist, writes his text always at the last minute. This time, a drunken man in his favourite bar tells Ike about Maggie Carpenter, a woman who always flees from her grooms in the last possible moment. Ike, who does not have the best opinion about females anyway, writes an offensive column without researching the subject thoroughly. The next day, Ike gets fired by his publisher (and former wife), because he went too far and faked the facts, which real journalists don't do. Ike's only way back into the business now is to do a fact-based report on Maggie and her upcoming fourth wedding attempt, which Ike predicts to fail again. So, as he circles her like a vulture his prey-to-be, Maggie's opinion of Ike sinks below zero. Not only is Ike waiting for her to fail again but the whole town is poking fun at Maggie about her mistakes. But that is a point which Ike doesn't like.

I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say. I know there are other movies to watch that I haven't seen yet but those movies are not guarantee that will make me feel good so why do I have to see them? Call me whatever (except eczema) but I like re-reading books and re-watching movies and sitcoms.

What I Did For Love

I want to own this book so I can read it over and over again. One of my project is to build my library of SEP books.

It's not easy being famous when your life is falling apart... Georgie York has been dumped by her movie star husband, her own film career is tanking, and her public image as a spunky romantic heroine is taking a serious beating.

What should a down-on-her-luck actress do? NOT go to Vegas...NOT run into her detestable former co-star—dreamboat-from-hell Bramwell Shepard...and NOT get caught up in a ridiculous incident that leads to a calamitous elopement. Before she knows it, Georgie has a fake marriage, fake husband, and maybe (or not) a fake sex life.

It's a paparazzi free-for-all, and Georgie's non-supporting cast doesn't help. There's Bram's punk-nightmare housekeeper; Georgie's pushy parent; a suck-up agent; an icy studio head; and her ex-husband's new wife, an international do-gooder who just might win the stupid Nobel Peace Prize!

As for Georgie's leading man... Bram, with his angel blue eyes and twisted black heart, has never cared about anyone but himself. Still, he's giving the performance of his life as man in love—thanks to the half a million dollars she's paying him. It was official. She'd married the devil. Or had she?

Two enemies find themselves working without a script in a town where the spotlight shines bright...and where the strongest emotions can wear startling disguises.

They are all good reads anywhere (even while doing thermogenic fat burners).

BUsted

I’m not a big fan of fake boobs although I admire those that are just proportionate to their body shape. I also admire the courage of those who wanted something over the top – gotta love the guts right?
Looks like, Nic has just hers done up. They said, when you got it, flaunt it. And flaunt it, she did.
It was in telly this week, women have their boobies done up really nice. A very lucrative business for cosmetic surgeries. And these days, they have implants up to 1000mm. I reckon, they would be too heavy that lifting fitness equipment is not necessary to shape up.

Most Beautiful People

Julia Roberts, who began her career as “Pretty Woman,” is now the most beautiful person in the world, according to People magazine’s Most Beautiful Person issue released on Wednesday.

This is the fourth time the 42-year-old timeless beauty has headed People’s list and the twelfth time she’s been named one of the world’s 100 Most Beautiful people.

The announcement was made live Wednesday on TODAY by People senior editor Galina Espinoza.

George Cloney commented that she is beautiful because of the way she is. Thats what a good friend is. You can seldom find a friend who knows who you really are and can say things such as that.
As for me, when you say pretty woman, obviously it would be Julia Roberts that will spring to mind. I love her movies that I keep on watching them over and over again espe ially the PW - I even go the great lengths if searching and researching (just like credit score online).

Good News

If Jennifer Aniston gets her way, she’ll soon be the adoptive single mother to a bouncing baby boy, just like Sheryl Crow, Calista Flockhart, Sharon Stone
, Mia Farrow…my fingers are getting tired, but you get the idea.

OK! magazine
reports that the process is underway.

Inspired by her good friend Sheryl Crow, who just became a mom to adopted son Wyatt, Jennifer Aniston is seriously considering adopting a baby. The 38-year-old actress has met with the same adoption agency
that helped bring Sheryl and her son together. Jen has also been spotted buying a ton of baby products. All she has to do is set up a nursery in her 15-million, 9,000-square-foot pad in Beverly Hills — the house she’s been renovating since October.

I read this article from a magazine two days ago. I was surprised and happy for her. I think, it's high time she does have a baby. As always, I wish her happiness.

Saying that she walking in the footsteps of Ange is a load of rubbish. I mean, adopting a child has been a norm rather than an exception in Holywood now a days. It's not just Ange, there are some others who don't make it so public (except if they undergo adult acne treatments or worse) like her.

I hope, it'll turn out good for Jen.

Sense and Sensibility

I saw this movie for the first time yesterday afternoon. Although, there were interruptions and I had to pause it every now and then (that’s what happened when you have a toddler wanting your attention most of the times), I enjoyed it. I knew what to expect in the movie – nothing much happenings that it borders to boring - so I wasn’t high on expectation and I didn’t get flopped with what I actually saw.

I’m not really good in giving reviews so I wouldn’t attempt it. What do I really want to do is get immersed in the era (1800’s) in the movie. Not because I have a royal blood – I am sure it would be difficult for me to survive. But because of the costumes of the female that is. Oh, don’t mention the male breeches – makes me realised where the jockey breeches came from.

The costumes were described as plain but for me they’re pretty. Imagine yourself running in the paddocks with sequined and beaded clothes. I’m sure it will just be an inconvenience. Well, I’m always for the plain and simple anyway. One more thing, they would hide those unwanted curves while waiting for ephedra weight loss products
to kick in.

To The Wedding

I just finished reading this book. It's a very simple story but moving.

Set in early Europe - notable mention of Po Delta river. The main character has AIDS. A mother who's remorseful as she left home hence her daughter moved out and decided to live on her own. A father who lives a simple life. A cook-stranger that gave him the deadly virus. The man who decided to marry her despite and inspite her terminal illness.

It's a triumphant book. Full of pictures of happiness and emotions.

True love in its purest form. Gives me hope that people with AIDS have the change to have a better life when they found the person that truly love them.

This is the second book that I read with Greek infusion in it but both are emotional (suitable for a person who research term life insurance for dummies, I reckon.. who is me). I'll give this book a 3 star out of 5.

Ms Potter

It's an old movie and I'm not sure if I have seen it. So when I saw a copy at the library I borrowed it. It's now waiting to be seen.

I'm silly because I read reviews before I watch a film. I would search it over the net and see if it is worth seeing. But even if the reviews are not positive, I'd still see it. It doesn't bother me (it's a different story though if you're reading a Mesothelioma treatment reviews). At least, I would know what to expect rather than expect too much and be disappointed. Some films do that.

Here are some reviews that told me, I will enjoy the movie.
"Miss Potter" is a wonderful movie caused me to coo, "AwwWWwwWw..." rather often.

This is a film for all age's, and all people. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish

A "Mary Poppins" Merry Movie :)

Whoopieee

Hilary Duff's NHL-playing fiancé, Mike Comrie, knows how to give good ice.

A source close to the Edmonton Oilers center, 29, tells us that the engagement ring he gave the former Disney star, 22, cost—gulp—$1 million...

The source tells us that Comrie bought the 14-karat princess-cut sparkler in Las Vegas.

I’m not really a fun of Hillary Duff but when I saw the news above, I gasp. Thoughts running on my mind – isn’t she still young? Maybe because the last movie that I saw her in she was a school-girl. Oh well, as I’ve said I’m not a fan so I don’t poke my nose in her life (says someone that doesn’t need allergy relief
even poked her nose to something).

But the bling is huge – wouldn’t stay up right though, it will always be lopsided if you have small finger. Lol.

Bags and Sleeves

My laptop bag is looking tattered and worn-out already. Well, I’ve been using it for more than a year so I already got my money’s worth. But knowing me, I’d still be using it until one of the straps break down. It’s still usable; I don’t want to waste another good thing by buying another one.

But when I need to buy one, I’ll certainly consider these cool bags to house my laptop computer.

These sleeve and bag are fron RushFaster. They're also adorable.

Cougar Town

I saw my first Cougar Town Wednesday night and I think I will be hooked. It's funny and refreshing. There might be some exaggeration but I guess it has some truth in it.

I sure will tune in to it every Wednesday night or get my fill in you tube, although the latter is really sporadic. But I can't complain - it's free and I don't have to wait. Sporadic and with ads (the likes of natural acne products) is better than paying for it.

Jen or Nic?

I stumbled upon this video while looking for a vid of Jennifer Aniston that I would like to add to my post about her birthday.

Both women have their own style. I think for me, Jen is more of like hot and sexy while Nicole is more like charming. Both are beautiful in a different kind of way. Jen is striking and strong while Nicole is more subtle and demure and soft. This is just based on the pictures I saw them - which are not really many. But at their age now, they both look gorgeous (hormonal acne was in the bygone era). I can't comment on Jen not having kids as it's her choice plus I don't really approve of having a child just for the sake of having her/him - having an apt partner to have raise the kid is still at the top of the list of requirements.

In short, I like them both.

Happy Birthday

to Jennifer Aniston.

I'm a big fan of her. It's ashame she doesn't have a facebook account (that I know of) or twitter. I just follow her on people.com. Sometimes, I think at least I don't get all the gossip.

This is the first time that I saw this ad but I do like it now. I wonder why isn't it shown in Australia? Humm, maybe it was before I came here. Anyway, I don't know everything that is to know about her as a fan. She could have been endorsing colon cleanse products for all I know.

Movies

One of my simple pleasures in life is watching movie. I sometimes rent them but if there are cheap dvds at the shops, I tend to buy them. I have my favourite on my collections - light, romantic, comedy. I watched them over and over again. I don't get tired especially if I like the casts. It's a big fun for me and slowly, my Little Boy is catching the hype. He now has a favourite movie from my list. He's a very nice buddy to watch movie too - very entertaining. Plus the fact that there's no interuptions like adds (for anti-wrinkle cream), it has become my favourite past time.

Today, while getting Jens to sleep we watch Sweet Home Alabama. I've seen this movie for the nth times but I can't get enough. Who would when the likes of Josh Lucas is gracing your screen? Lol. Those eyes that pierce through your soul?

This is the scene that I really find funny and my favourite as well.

Making Babies and Pregnant

A second grader came home from school and said to her grandmother, "Grandma, guess what? We learned how to make babies today." The grandmother, more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool "That's interesting," she said, "how do you make babies?" "It's simple," replied the girl. "You just change 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'."

Children's Logic: "Give me a sentence about a public servant," said a teacher. The small boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant." The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?" she asked. "Sure," said the young boy confidently. 'It means carrying a child."

Skywatch #2

I was really busy at work last week. Didn't get to write anything about anything at work at all. Just an update, I'm going to Melbourne next week for two days to meet the customer for the first time. I'm not going alone - that I am happy.

Since, this weeks skywatch has sort of beach theme, I'll post one of the old photos I got when we dash to the beach from my in-laws place.

More skywatchers here.
