In The Homefront

Everyone is ill in my family. My father-in-law was in hospital for almost two weeks. Before he was released, my mother-in-law was also hospitalised. All the while, the little boy stayed home to get better from cough and flu. I got a little bit ill but I avoided taking a day off work. My husband is now ill as well. Oh dear!

It's like we're breeding the virus at home. The weather doesn't help. It's been gloomy. A little bit of sunshine could have helped kills the bacteria.

Meanwhile, I keep myself amused (not with a newAcer Aspire) but this:

Circus

At last, we were able to see the circus yesterday. It's way past my age but that was the first for me.

We got there early and had a few minutes to spare to see the animals at the back of the tent and buy popcorn.

We had fun. Jens was so mesmerised with the acts and with the animals. I'm really glad as it was money well spent. (We always need to think that these days even when checking out stuff in www.bestacnetreatment.net). They have lions, donkeys, dogs, a monkey, horses and camels. My favourite part was the juggling, hoolahoops and the trapeez at the end of the show.

Puppy Dog at the Beach

We head to the beach on Australia Day. It was a nice day. The Bribie Island beach is so long that everyone is spread-out. You can't feel that it is crowded.

My one-and-a-half men had fun soaking in the water and playing cricket with their togs (breeches aren't appropriate).

Funny Phrases

The Tatapilla has been really good with his vocabulary. He doesn't stop the amaze us with different words and funny phrases he comes up at un-expected moments.

Typical these days are:
Good boy, Mum.

You're not my friend. You're not my best friend, either.

You're not my little boy, Mum.

Go away.

Sometimes, I am worried that he is getting bully and really vicious but Mcj said, it's all part of his growing up, testing our patience and all. I just hope, it's that and not that we are getting bad as being parents. We do our best (we just don't sit our botttom in home theater seating) but he's been in daycare since he was 1 and I know there are lots of ups, there are also downs and this is one of them.

Oh well, we can only do so much but we are taking our task/job seriously. Besides, we are the guardians.
