Ms Potter
It's an old movie and I'm not sure if I have seen it. So when I saw a copy at the library I borrowed it. It's now waiting to be seen.
I'm silly because I read reviews before I watch a film. I would search it over the net and see if it is worth seeing. But even if the reviews are not positive, I'd still see it. It doesn't bother me (it's a different story though if you're reading a Mesothelioma treatment reviews). At least, I would know what to expect rather than expect too much and be disappointed. Some films do that.
Here are some reviews that told me, I will enjoy the movie.

Whoopieee
Hilary Duff's NHL-playing fiancé, Mike Comrie, knows how to give good ice.
A source close to the Edmonton Oilers center, 29, tells us that the engagement ring he gave the former Disney star, 22, cost—gulp—$1 million...
The source tells us that Comrie bought the 14-karat princess-cut sparkler in Las Vegas.
I’m not really a fun of Hillary Duff but when I saw the news above, I gasp. Thoughts running on my mind – isn’t she still young? Maybe because the last movie that I saw her in she was a school-girl. Oh well, as I’ve said I’m not a fan so I don’t poke my nose in her life (says someone that doesn’t need allergy relief
even poked her nose to something).
But the bling is huge – wouldn’t stay up right though, it will always be lopsided if you have small finger. Lol.

You Have Your Friends to Smile About |
You are truly blessed to have good people in your life. Your friends get you through the good times and the bad times. You can't help but smile whenever you're around your friends. Even thinking about them brings a grin to your face. You feel like everything will be okay in your life, as long as you have a support network. And you get a lot of happiness from supporting your friends in return. You believe that people truly do need each other. |

Going Down The Road
It sometimes annoys my husband when I'm taking photos while travelling in the car. The flash catches him off guard. Lol. But he knows that I'm always skywatching.

Bags and Sleeves
My laptop bag is looking tattered and worn-out already. Well, I’ve been using it for more than a year so I already got my money’s worth. But knowing me, I’d still be using it until one of the straps break down. It’s still usable; I don’t want to waste another good thing by buying another one.
But when I need to buy one, I’ll certainly consider these cool bags to house my laptop computer.
These sleeve and bag are fron RushFaster. They're also adorable.

Shine
Last night was the big night for the cricketers in Australia. It was the Allan Border Night. Apart from the awarding, another thing to get excited about is the parade of beautiful wives and girlfriends. The red carpet is graced by women with pretty clothes and accessories.
This one had created much uproar from the public – positive and negative. She’s modelling her own design. There’s no sign of using Solo Slim there.
Another eye-catcher is the tatts jewellery.

Online Degree
Learning doesn't stop when you got the job. Some wants to keep educating themselves to be acquianted with what's the latest in the chosen profession. Some wants to further their studies. But the choices are few when you are working full time. It crossed my mind several times to enrol in an online university. I have done my research which school offers to program that I want to get in but my free time don't permit it yet.
Choosing ones school is critical as it plays a vital role in the sucess and completion of the course. Does it offer flexible time? Can you tailor your subjects to your work schedule? How much does it cost? How is the cost compared to other online universities? How's the school performance in relation to the program that you are interested in?
In the US there are several schools that are worth looking at if you are interested in rn to bsn online. There's WGU for one. It has become a national university, serving over 17,000 students from all 50 states. The tuition is flat rate - I think that is synonymous to no hidden charges. I think being a non-profit school is a bonus as they are not thinking of the shareholders but the students.
For me the criteria would be affordability, schedule and quality.

Circus
At last, we were able to see the circus yesterday. It's way past my age but that was the first for me.
We got there early and had a few minutes to spare to see the animals at the back of the tent and buy popcorn.
We had fun. Jens was so mesmerised with the acts and with the animals. I'm really glad as it was money well spent. (We always need to think that these days even when checking out stuff in www.bestacnetreatment.net). They have lions, donkeys, dogs, a monkey, horses and camels. My favourite part was the juggling, hoolahoops and the trapeez at the end of the show.

Cougar Town
I saw my first Cougar Town Wednesday night and I think I will be hooked. It's funny and refreshing. There might be some exaggeration but I guess it has some truth in it.
I sure will tune in to it every Wednesday night or get my fill in you tube, although the latter is really sporadic. But I can't complain - it's free and I don't have to wait. Sporadic and with ads (the likes of natural acne products) is better than paying for it.

Jen or Nic?
I stumbled upon this video while looking for a vid of Jennifer Aniston that I would like to add to my post about her birthday.
Both women have their own style. I think for me, Jen is more of like hot and sexy while Nicole is more like charming. Both are beautiful in a different kind of way. Jen is striking and strong while Nicole is more subtle and demure and soft. This is just based on the pictures I saw them - which are not really many. But at their age now, they both look gorgeous (hormonal acne was in the bygone era). I can't comment on Jen not having kids as it's her choice plus I don't really approve of having a child just for the sake of having her/him - having an apt partner to have raise the kid is still at the top of the list of requirements.
In short, I like them both.

Happy Birthday
to Jennifer Aniston.
I'm a big fan of her. It's ashame she doesn't have a facebook account (that I know of) or twitter. I just follow her on people.com. Sometimes, I think at least I don't get all the gossip.
This is the first time that I saw this ad but I do like it now. I wonder why isn't it shown in Australia? Humm, maybe it was before I came here. Anyway, I don't know everything that is to know about her as a fan. She could have been endorsing colon cleanse products for all I know.

Winter Olympic 2010
The opening ceremony was just spectacular. I didn't see the everything there was to it but a glimpse of some. It was full of interesting show of talent. Just great!
I'm thrilled that the games will be televised here in the free to air telly. We are not interested in all the winter games but as sport lovers, we certainly would be tuning in almost all the time to get updates and see the progress of the event despite the fact that the program is inundated with commercials such as weight loss success stories and all. It's just a tip of the iceberg and it won't discourage us.

Movies
One of my simple pleasures in life is watching movie. I sometimes rent them but if there are cheap dvds at the shops, I tend to buy them. I have my favourite on my collections - light, romantic, comedy. I watched them over and over again. I don't get tired especially if I like the casts. It's a big fun for me and slowly, my Little Boy is catching the hype. He now has a favourite movie from my list. He's a very nice buddy to watch movie too - very entertaining. Plus the fact that there's no interuptions like adds (for anti-wrinkle cream), it has become my favourite past time.
Today, while getting Jens to sleep we watch Sweet Home Alabama. I've seen this movie for the nth times but I can't get enough. Who would when the likes of Josh Lucas is gracing your screen? Lol. Those eyes that pierce through your soul?
This is the scene that I really find funny and my favourite as well.
Listen to FINE!

I'm Natural I Can Say That
You Are Charming and Natural |
If someone were to ask you your secret to life, you'd just have to shrug. You don't know how you do it! You are naturally happy, friendly, and likable. You never try to be anyone else, and you don't aim to impress. You are refreshingly honest and simple. People know what they get with you, and that's reassuring. You are humble and sweet. You don't know why anyone would consider you special, and that's exactly what makes you so special. |
Party true. For once, I have so many things to say but I know I'm special. Lol. That's why my husband is aiming to take my wish of vacation every year (even not in Outer Banks vacation).

Mixed Feelings
Sometimes, I'm getting mixed feelings. I like my job. It's challenging. The thing is, workload is not consistent. At times, I am not busy. There are also times that I can't squeeze in going to the toilet.
Plus it's way too far from where we live. I have to travel more than 2 hours a day. For me who used to live 15 minutes away from work, it's a big change and a change that is too hard to get used to. Thanks to books and music, they make my travel enjoyable.
It had occured in my mind several times to look for another employment but it is only passing. Only when I feel burnt-out and workload is suffocating me.
Oh well, I can't have the best all the time, do I? I'll just have to think that I have the best job in the world that I can land to.

Saturday Nine
1. Tell us a joke that you think is funny. If you don't tell jokes tell us why. I can't think of one right now but I tell jokes.
2. Where do you buy most of your clothes? Boutique, department stores.
3. Which famous person would you like to meet? Why? Jennifer Aniston. I like her and I want to meet her in person.
4. What is your ultimate ambition? To remain happy all the time.
5. Do you like to live in the area of your country or would you prefer something a little different? I like it here - sunny and happy. I want to be in my home country - Philippines but it's just not feasible so long distance moving company won't get a cent from me.
6. Has a newspaper or television reporter ever interviewed you? If so, what were the circumstances and what did you think when you read or saw what you said? No but my husband had been.
7. What was the last CD/mp3 album that you purchased? How did you like it? Can't remember - I'm not really into music and I just ransacked my husband's.
8. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you. A very special love, The gift, Three times a lady, Insatiable, Big Red Car.
9. Do you are your partner usual begin intimacy? Both.
This is my first try on this meme. Hopefully, I can keep it up. I like the questions, so that's a good sign.

What's Cooking?
I had mince meat out for tonight. I'm planning to make our home-made version of lasagnia. It's made of layer of mince meat, onions, potato and tomatoes. The last time, I made it I put too much water and I have learned from it. I will just put a little and let it simmer. Hopefully, it will turn alright as it's one of Mcj's favourites.
I haven't prepared it yet but soon when I'm finished my online tasks (online backup will be out of the list this time - so busy).

Funny Phrases
The Tatapilla has been really good with his vocabulary. He doesn't stop the amaze us with different words and funny phrases he comes up at un-expected moments.
Typical these days are:
Good boy, Mum.
You're not my friend. You're not my best friend, either.
You're not my little boy, Mum.
Go away.
Sometimes, I am worried that he is getting bully and really vicious but Mcj said, it's all part of his growing up, testing our patience and all. I just hope, it's that and not that we are getting bad as being parents. We do our best (we just don't sit our botttom in home theater seating) but he's been in daycare since he was 1 and I know there are lots of ups, there are also downs and this is one of them.
Oh well, we can only do so much but we are taking our task/job seriously. Besides, we are the guardians.
